Day Tours are an excellent way to experience sailing and enjoy a day on the water. Price for a day is less than $100 per person.

We leave Campbell River and, depending on the tides and weather, sail North or South through Discovery Passage. We can be sure of an exciting time. We can accommodate up to six persons on a day tour.

When possible the day tour will travel to Mittlenatch Island Wildlife Sanctuary. The island is about 10 miles from Campbell River and we take about six hours for the round trip. We normally go ashore to see the birds, seals and unique flowers that are on the island.

We will see bald eagles and seals as well as various types sea birds on out day trips. Perhaps an orca, porpoise or dolphin. Occassionaly a minke or humpback whale. A hot snack and drinks are provided. Fun and excitment is free. You can even sail the boat and help raise and lower sails.

3 night/ 4 day tour to Desolation Sound with stops at Pendrell Sound, Roscoe Bay, Squirrel Cove, Forbes Bay, Refuge Cove and Teakerne Arm waterfall. This a very popular tour and we sail through some spectacular scenery. Price for this tour is $950 per person.

Desolation Sound is one of the most popular destinations for a boating holiday. The views of the mountains are spectacular and the various coves and anchorages are unique in their own way. There is the feeling of being close to nature when anchored for night and look up into the sky to see millions of stars that can only be seen in such splendour from the sea. We leave Campbell River and go where the wind is best, maybe go to Forbes Bay for the night; Fishing is great in the bay. The adventurous can have a dip in the mountain stream at Forbes Bay,the water is crystal clear and icy cold, very refreshing on a hot day. Then to Pendrell Sound which is known for warm water in the summer, and also for outstanding oysters. From Pendrell Sound we can sail along Waddington Channel to Cortes Bay or Squirrel Cove. On our return to Campbell River we will go Refuge Cove has a couple of stores that offer a variety of handicrafts and books and there is a general store with Post Office here as well. We will be sailing in open water but anchoring in safe areas at night.
